We have increased the revenue of Svit Chaju online store by 16 times over 7 years
At the beginning of our collaboration back in 2014, the Client was uncertain whether we could grow the online store to match the sales volumes of their best offline location. They were also unsure if investing in an online store was even worthwhile. We started with a small budget in 2016 and proved that the online store could outperform any brick-and-mortar store.
Svit-chaju is an importer, retail chain, and online store specializing in tea, coffee, and tableware. The network, which has been operating since 2001, includes 200 stores across Ukraine and imports over 200 types of products.

TASKS
At the beginning of our collaboration back in 2016, the Client was uncertain whether we could grow the online store to match the sales volumes of their best offline location. They were also unsure if investing in an online store was even worthwhile. We started with small budgets and proved that the online store could outperform any brick-and-mortar store.
Following that success, we continued to scale online sales, promote the chain’s offline stores, and implement B2B digital marketing to generate leads for wholesale, franchise opportunities, and office tea and coffee services.
FEATURES AND CHALLENGES
Strong product margins but heavy price undercutting by wholesalers, competitors, and offline stores.
Offline sales declined during COVID-19 period and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Significant drop in overall sales at the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Closure of many offline stores, both owned and partner locations.
Preserving offline sales while enhancing them with new online customers.
The Client’s product range is limited to their own imports
There was no in-house web IT team, so we started an online store on WordPress with WooCommerce and later migrated to Cartum.
SOLUTIONS
We started from scratch with digital marketing. We set up PPC ads and web analytics, quickly launching our first search and remarketing campaigns. Within a few months, we had a steady flow of users and orders, which we later scaled with new formats and campaigns.
At the same time, we focused on retention — setting up trigger-based and promo emails, creating message sequences, and helping shape offers to match market trends. This boosted brand loyalty and significantly increased LTV.
We also handled all the technical aspects of the website, from assigning tasks to developers to choosing platforms and moving to a more user-friendly CMS as sales grew.
For B2B, we developed a strategy to attract wholesale and franchising clients. We built the entire B2B funnel, including dedicated landing pages, targeted campaigns, and ads. We have also helped to craft offers and unique selling propositions.
We didn’t forget about offline efforts either — we helped the Client sort out Google My Business verification and updated info for their physical stores, which boosted offline sales.
By staying in constant communication and planning flexibly, we were able to respond quickly to COVID and the full-scale invasion. Even in these tough times, we managed not just to maintain sales but to grow them.
RESULT
Over the years of our cooperation, we have not only matched the performance of the best offline stores but surpassed them many times over.
When comparing 2017, our first full year of working together, to 2023, we’ve seen exponential growth:
In the past 3 years, B2B inquiries have led to the opening of 5 franchise locations, in addition to 1 online store and 1 coffee shop.
Our flexible marketing management structure also allowed us to recover both revenue (in USD) and order volume of 2021 levels by December 2022.
